Q:
Hi there, I have a 4 year old Husky x Lab named Blu weighting about 55-60 lbs. After recent bloodwork and urine tests, it was discovered that he is low on Phosphorus & has struvite crystals in his urine:( According to the vet once you have crystals, you always have crystals and said i had to change to prescription urinary diet and this will solve it. This set me off of course because after all the efforts I have put in with a healthy raw dehydrated diet and all the supplements he needs , there is no way i am back tracking now!
After extensive research I found that with a few supplements such as DL-Methionine, D-Mannose & Cranberry Extract the crystals and PH of his urine can be solved! Do you this East peesy protcol is the correct and most effective treatment for him? I want to get this situation under control before it turns into stones. As for the low Phosphorus, i will start to add sardines to his diet as they are very high in it!
thanks for your help!

Hi Anita,
I do think that the Easy Peesy Protocol would be very beneficial for Blu.
The Easy Peesy I - Homeopathic:
The homeopathic component in The Easy Peesy Protocol does not differentiate between high and low PH. The homeopathic remedies support the kidneys and work to help break down and dissolve whichever crystals are in the body, no matter if they are struvite or oxalate.
Easy Peesy II Nutraceutical Powder contains:
-Multi strain pre and probiotics which contains 1 billion CFUs, provides beneficial bacteria to establish colony and keeps bad bacteria at bay -
-D-mannose can bind harmful bacteria which helps the body carry it out of the bladder and dispose of it through the urine
-N-acetyleglucosamine works to reduce inflammation and produce cell connective tissue keeping the urinary tract healthy and strong
- Marshmallow root is rich in mucilage which helps to coat the mucus membranes and protect delicate tissue
- Uva ursi helps regulate pH balance, strengthening the lining of the urinary tract and helps ease inflammation. It also contains a natural compound called arbutin which produces an antiseptic effect on the urinary mucous membrane
- Nettle leaf is a natural diuretic that assists in flushing the bladder and urinary tract to prevent infections and crystal formation. Studies have shown it to have antimicrobial, antioxidant and astringent properties
I would also take a look at our Liver Tonic. We have a great YouTube channel where Julie Anne Lee DCH RCSHom, founder and formulator for Adored Beast, discusses all our products and more! I’d encourage you to check it out.

While we don’t recommend the protocol for daily use without the advice of your veterinarian, if your animal suffers from chronic urinary tract issues, it can be used 3-4 times per year as maintenance. This is the liquid and the powder together.
You can use Easy Peesy II (just the powder) regularly to give the bladder some love, or rotate with our other probiotics.
