Taraxacum Officinalis
(Dandelion Root)

Dandelions have been found to be some of the oldest and most nutritious plants on the planet. Dandelion root supports bile secretion and healthy digestion, promotes healthy liver function, and may help fight inflammation. Dandelion is highly nutritious and full of antioxidants, and supports the removal of toxins from the body. Rich in potassium, dandelion has been found to be supportive for hepatic and digestive complaints, as well as general constipation.

Chelidonium Majus
(Greater Celandine)

Chelidonium possesses many active properties including isoquinoline alkaloids, chelidonine, proteolytic enzymes, sanguinarine, chelidoxanthine, flavonoids, and phenolic acids. Chelidonium has an affinity for the liver and gallbladder, and has a long history of use with disorders of the liver, spleen, gallbladder, kidney, intestine as well as problems related to the lungs. Chelidonium has been shown to support bile production, which helps with digestion, specifically by breaking down fat and facilitating toxin removal.

Cardus Marianus
(Milk Thistle)

This plant can protect the liver from the effects of heavy metals, and drugs, and provide support in detoxification after exposure to solvents, pesticides, bacteria from food poisoning, and other toxins. Milk thistle works to stabilize liver cell membranes and acts as an antioxidant to protect liver cells from free radical damage. (Barberry)

Barberry, which contains berberine, helps inhibit the growth of bacteria and other disease causing organisms. It helps in boosting the body’s immune system as well. It helps in detoxifying as well as stimulating the liver, improving function. Barberry is commonly used for gastritis, ulcers, and ulcerative bowel problems. In problems like renal colic, barberry helps in easing the soreness and burning caused by this condition. It contains powerful astringent properties that help kill negative intestinal bacteria.

Improved Quality of Life - Significantly

To say I recommend this product is an understatement. My sweet girl is 13 and about two years ago stopped acting like herself. She started hiding, her liver enzymes were getting scarily high, and she started early dementia. This tonic has significantly improved my baby girl’s quality of life. Even if she’s not completely like her old self, having the changes this product provided is worth every single penny. She no longer seems to live in pain and has many more spurts of energy. My cat is recovering from severe liver imbalance

My cat's bloodwork showed very high levels for his liver , and had yellowing skin , lethargy, would not eat . Is it ok to give my dachshund liver tonic on an empty stomach as he does not always like to eat?

Yes, there's not reason you can't give Liver Tonic on an empty stomach. It's just more convenient to give with food. Please ensure that the dropper doesn't come into contact with the saliva or if it does please clean with hot water before putting back in the bottle.

Hi Amber, Once opened, Liver Tonic would be fine to use for 6-8 months with proper storage. Some active compounds in glycerine-based extracts (especially plant-derived ones) are susceptible to oxidation when exposed to air. This can reduce their potency or alter their chemical properties. While glycerine itself is stable and resists rancidity, components in the extract usually degrade when exposed to oxygen, leading to changes in smell, taste, and effectiveness. The more it gets used, the more oxygen exposure.
