We recommend using the entire container. Consider rotating into one of our other pre and probiotic formulas once you have finished your jar of Feline Gut Soothe.
It is not necessary to be on additional probiotics but if you are currently giving one it doesn’t hurt to finish or slowly wean off rather than just stopping something abruptly your animal has been getting. One thing to note is that the probiotic blend in Gut Soothe is quite powerful, offering 15 Billion CFUs (colony forming units) per serving. Too many probiotics can cause loose stool, so if you are currently giving one, be mindful of that!
Minimum of 12 months.
The product is freeze-dried, so while refrigeration is not necessary, we believe it will help to maintain optimal freshness.

I tried all different pre and probiotics for my cat who has lymphoma and diarrhea. This is the one that stopped the diarrhea. Was highly recommended by a cancer support group.
My cat has been having pain every time she poops for the last several months. The vet hasn't given her an "official" diagnosis, but we suspect it's colitis. On a good day, she takes off like a shot out of the litter box, runs to a "safe place", lies down, and is done. On a bad day, she hasn't quite finished pooping... so she poops more in that "safe place", takes off like a shot again, rinse, repeat. I've been giving her Feline Gut Soothe for about 3 months now. At the very beginning, she and I came to an agreement that she'd eat it as long as I gave her only half the recommended dose. I've been trying to increase that gradually, with mixed success. We're up to 2/3 of a dose at this point, and she's definitely been having fewer "episodes" of continued pooping once she's out of the box. It could be my imagination, but I also think she's not running QUITE as fast when she takes off out of the box. I'd love to see the results at a full dose! Not sure if we'll ever get there, but I'll keep trying. Just wish it were a little more palatable to a finicky kitty....
provides relief for nauseated cat
This product has been working very well for Calvin.
This is a LONG read but worth it. My senior kitty had been going on months of different antibiotics trying to stop what was going on. I was at my last straw as I didn't want him suffering and was ready to let him go. Diarrhea so bad it was liquid and everywhere, washing bedding daily, cleaning floors constantly, he had stool incontinence and he'd drag his butt. I'm sure it was burning. Add the vomiting, not wanting to eat, he was down a little over a pound and the vet said let's try 1 more antibiotic for IBD. In the meantime I did some research as I knew some herbal remedies were out there to try and came upon this site and remedy. The antibiotic didn't help which I had a feeling it wouldn't. His intestines I'm sure were just inflamed as all get out. Diet wise, he's on a raw diet so I have to watch that he doesn't eat the canned food my other cats get. He was also give digestive enzymes but once this product arrived, I stopped those, he was close to finishing the antibiotics so I figured I'd wait it out to see how things went. His vomiting stopped. His stools started to slow down, then went to pudding consistency and 10 days after completing the antibiotics and being on this, today is the first time in MONTHS he's had a regular formed stool. YES I'm excited about cat stool! LOL He's eating voraciously and he's gained back that lost weight as well. I do put this in his food 2x a day (I know that's probably too much) but I'll start backing off to 1x a day. This product saved me from having to put him down, he has a good quality of life again!
